Bank Accounts and Gift Aid

A few days ago our bank account with Barclays was unexpectedly closed. This means that payments from members made by standing order or bank transfer will now be rejected. This does not affect members signed up through Enthuse.

Our secretary, Kate, will be in touch in the coming days with our new NatWest bank details to allow members to resume their payments by standing order or bank transfer. Please cancel any existing arrangements in the meantime. Alternatively, members can use the Enthuse platform to make payments. UK-based members can sign up here and international members can sign up here.

If you have any questions or concerns then please get in touch with our treasurer Rob at treasurer@lcbcs.com.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer then we can reclaim Gift Aid of 25p for every £1 you donate from the tax you pay for the current tax year. We are currently refreshing our Gift Aid Declaration forms for payments made by standing order or bank transfer. If you pay by either of these methods then please fill out the form here to make a new Gift Aid Declaration. Please do this even if you have filled out one previously!

If you are a member through Enthuse and are UK-based then you will have been given the option to add Gift Aid when you signed up. If your situation has changed and you wish to add or remove Gift Aid (or don’t know if you already do) then please get in touch with Rob at treasurer@lcbcs.com and he will let you know how.

Thank You!

Finally, thank you for your ongoing support of LCBCS. Your donations have made it possible to buy new boats and blades in the past year for LCBC whilst keeping membership free and open to all Lincoln College students regardless of their circumstances.
